This poem is based off of Joseph Conrad's story, The Secret Sharer, which we had to read in AP Lit. Aight:
The Secret Sharer
"I've killed a man," he said to me,
"I've killed a man," he said to me,
the secret sharer of my heart.
I clasped his hands tightly in mine
as we rocked the boat, before I let go,
whispering confidently, "Fit of temper."
